The Signs of Concussion

If you or anyone you know has any of these signs, consult with a doctor immediately. Signs of possible concussion:
  • Knocked Unconscious
  • Headache
  • Pressure in Head
  • Confusion
  • Dizziness
  • Unusual Fatigue (Mental or Physical)
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Feeling Groggy
  • Sluggishness
  • Clumsiness
  • Balance Problems
  • Sensitivity to Light
  • Sensitivity to Noise
  • Ringing in Ears
  • Vision Changes
  • Behaviour Changes
  • Difficulty Answering Questions
  • Difficulty Concentrating
  • Slurred Speech
  • Memory Problems

When to Seek Emergency Medical Assistance

If you or anyone you know shows any of these signs, CALL 911 immediately:
  • Loss of consciousness
  • Seizures
  • Unequal pupils
  • Repeated vomiting
  • Weakness or loss of feeling on one side of the body
  • Confusion
  • Slurred speech
