Smashfest is a charity event in which those in attendance mix and mingle with NHL stars and other celebrities at a ping pong themed party in downtown Toronto. Over the past four years the event has featured over 60 NHL players including Steven Stamkos, Martin St. Louis, Jason Spezza, Mike Cammalleri, Phil Kessel, Tyler Seguin, Logan Couture, Jeff Skinner, David Clarkson, Vincent Lecavalier, and many more, as well as former heroes like Eric Lindros, Nick Kypreos, Kevin Weekes and Doug Gilmour. The evening includes full open bar and food, and proceeds support research efforts in the areas of concussion as well as rare cancers.
